Designing for urgency without losing trust
Childcare is deeply personal, but since family life is anything but predictable, parents were often left scrambling or with no options when it came to booking last minute support they could trust. NOD needed a system that could respond instantly while still feeling dependable and human. Matching supply and demand is a marketplace problem; earning trust between families and carers is something else entirely. The challenge was to design an experience that feels simple on the surface, while coordinating availability, payments and communication seamlessly behind the scenes.
